Ninebark is a unique shrub with exfoliating bark, hence the name Ninebark. Its white blooms turn to a pinkish red color as they mature. This shrub takes on somewhat of an umbrella shape as it matures. Songbirds will forage on the seeds and the exfoliant bark creates winter interest.
