Showy clusters of yellow flowers hug greenish-purple arching stems from summer into early fall. Solidago is the top herbaceous perennial hosting 110 species of moths and butterflies (NWF) and specialized bees, a must have for pollinator and songbird habitat. Bluestem Golden rod is very well behaved and does not spread like some species of Solidago. Plant under trees, native gardens, butterfly gardens, woodland gardens and containers.
