Very showy bright orange blossoms brighten up any garden. Not aggressive like common milkweed can be. Hummingbirds and pollinators will love its rich nectar. Plant of Merit by Missouri Botanical Gardens. Use in sunny boarders, naturalize, rock gardens or for erosion control on slopes. Drought and poor soil tolerant. Larval host for Monarch butterfly and 12 other butterflies and moths.
