This dogwood provides winter interest with its red stems and white berries. The spring blooms are white and provide for many pollinators. As with most Cornus species it appreciates some shade in the hot afternoons. It will also grow well at a woods edge, dappled shade and stream edges. Black Walnut tolerant.
