This is a striking plant with attractive folidge and bright yellow profuse blooms. Long slender seed pods that turn black in the fall. Because of it's height it works well as a back drop for other perennials. Quail and wild turkey eat their seeds. Larval host for the Cloudless Sulfur Butterfly.
