This is a diverse shrub that will grow well in several soil types. White blooms begin in spring and turn to white berries towards late summer to fall. The berries produce winter interest and are a food source for birds. They will grow in full sun to dappled shade. As with most Cornus species hot afternoon shade is appreciated.
